WHY?

The marketing landscape is becoming more and more cluttered with random messages and people don't have time to sift through it all.  You need to move beyond "the usual" marketing, fundraising and PR campaigns if you want to stand out.

But most people don't know where to begin.

That's why we created this event; to help you create your marketing voice and get real results.

Nonprofits & young professionals will discuss:

  • The MOST effective way to get people interested in your nonprofit and then stay engaged after they find you online.
  • The LEAST effective ways to market your nonprofit: Common mistakes that most people make and how to avoid them.
  • Tips, tricks and strategies you need to know to get people to share your stories and build your fan base.
  • How to create compelling stories and become better at marketing through storytelling.

WHO?

Andy Crestodina, Co-Founder & Strategic Director of Orbit Media and Chicago Cause will be interviewed by Mark J Carter (Founder of Networking For A Cause) about the art of attracting an audience and keeping people engaged with nonprofits through content marketing.  He'll share strategies he's learned from working with both corporations and nonprofits over the years.

THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO 10 YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AND 10 NONPROFITS

TO GUARANTEE GREAT DISCUSSIONS AND INTERACTIONS!

WHY IS THIS EVENT DIFFERENT?

You can walk into a networking event with 100+ people and "work the room" hoping to make a connection for your nonprofit or, for young professionals, trying to find the "right" nonprofit to get involved with. OR... Maybe there's a better way...

At this event you will be in the room with people attending for a specific reason.  You'll sit at tables with them, get to know them and make targeted, valuable connections.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Nonprofits - You should attend IF: You want to create content marketing campaigns & tell your story online  to attract new volunteers, board members, potential donations and people to help you raise money.

Young Professionals - You should attend IF: You love marketing, you love creating or want to learn how to create marketing content (blogs, email newsletters, etc).  You'll learn skills that you can use as a volunteer AND in your career.
